  After being a single parent for 7 years with two children sharing one room with both my girls for four years and being the waiting list after being made illegally evicted from my private rented home I finally had an offer from the council for a top floor flat that I was unable to decline I viewed the property and was told to come in to the council the next day to collect the keys and sign my contract, the next morning I made my way there I got there just in time and received a phone call from the lady who showed me around the property and she told me because of all the stairs the property was being taken away from us as it was unsustainable for us. I am 8 months pregnant so to be told I would receive help where it is clearly needed at this crucial time and have it taken away from my children at the very last second is utterly disgusting im in this position because the council faild to protect the children's basic human rights to live a normal family life and also fail us from the very beginning of this hole ordeal.
